‘Making Light of it all!’ The seminar/workshop is based on ‘Give Me Some Light!!!’. It provides an opportunity to explore and
evaluate in depth the new interactive resources for teaching lighting through
the practical use of lighting equipment. The workshop focuses on
applying the principles and practices of lighting to drama and dance and look
at ways of supporting student’s lighting coursework options for examinations

INSET for Secondary TeachersWorkshop/seminar on site for small or larger groups Equipment: Full set of lighting equipment will be provided Cost: 3 Hours £200 plus expenses 6 Hours £300 plus expenses ‘From Lantern to Control’ The workshop provides an opportunity to develop a
practical understanding of your lighting equipment and installation by
sorting it out and setting it up to create a lighting rig for drama lessons
or for performance spaces. It will also look at ways of managing the
lighting system and establishing a ‘Back to Square One’ rig. “Brilliant,
great practical hints and tips; the lantern layout and area plans have
provided us with a ‘road map’ to understanding and using our lighting
system!”
