‘Lighting for Drama’
‘The Complete Works’ Study Guide This resource has
been devised for Continued Professional Development providing a practical
introduction and guide to stage lighting.
It is divided into three Acts and progresses from a ‘starter level’
looking at equipment, through the principles and practices of lighting and
finally to lighting design. The Acts are
divided into 12 ‘bite size’ sections making it easy to dip into or mix and
match depending upon individual needs or requirements. At the end of each Act is an ‘Encore’
section providing additional information sheets, resources and teaching
material. Act 3 contains a
detailed analysis of the KS4 syllabus requirements for lighting as an
examination coursework option. It
provides a pathway through the programme of study and a student guide to the
preparation of coursework. The Study Guide is the final
section of the ‘Give Me Some Light!!!’ study pack. The accompanying three
DVDs and Workbooks from the students section can also be used to provide
further visual information and a record of study. The study pack is designed to provide
support for students at KS 4&5 lighting course work options. It can also be used to provide resources
